I followed the recipe exactly using the size pan designated in recipe and we were disappointed. Too much of the crust layer according to both teens and my husband. The pecan mixture on top was a success, but I think my household would like to see a thinner crust. Might try it again with a larger pan so that the crust can be spread more thinly and increase the pecan mixture to cover entire area.

omg, this was awesome! I decided to break away from the traditional pumpkin pie this year and boy was I glad I did! The family could not stop talking about this desert and was the first to go. I topped off this desert with French Vanilla flavored whipped cream and refrigerated it overnite. Turned it into a triple layer dream!! You will not be disappointed!!

This recipe was a huge success at a company Thanksgiving party. After making this, my coworkers have constantly asked for it again. It was very easy to make & even more delicious than it looks.

My husband makes these for all family gatherings, and everyone always loves them. My kids are always excited when they know he is making them. We just attended a family wedding and at my mother's request my husband made the pecan bars, they were a big hit. My aunt confessed that she stashed a bunch in her purse. My parents and brother-in-law made sure they had plates full of them to take home. I would recommend this recipe for anyone. According to my husband they are very easy to make.

They're not quite what I expected but are still very good. Next time I'll try reducing the flour amount alittle and using 1 cup each of pecans and chocolate chips. Serves 60? More like 20.

I made this recipe and everyone loved it. I substituted the Splenda Brown Sugar for regular brown sugar and don't think it made any difference at all in the taste. Would definitely make it again.
