These are good only if served chilled. I made these twice, first with all the dough which turns out to be too much. The second time I used only 3/4 of the dough, but they still come out soft.

Easy, easy and oh so delicious!! I took the advice of a previous poster and substituted 1 cup of chocolate chips for 1 of the cups of pecans! Wonderful!

This recipe said that it yields 60 bars, and there is no way it makes 5 dozen. It actually only makes about 24 if you cut them small.

I make pecan tassies for the holidays and special occasions. If this recipe is even half as good as my tassies, it wins my vote for being easier, keeping that pecan pie taste. Looking to include it as one of my holiday favorites. I agree with cook who wants a thinner crust using a larger pan. Would Increase filling by 1/2 of listed ingredients for a thicker layer. Watch baking time with larger pan.

We all really enjoyed this. I took it to Mother's Day on both sides of our family Next time I will make it on a bigger cookie sheet for a thinner crust and make more of the delicious pecan mixture.
