My entire family loved this! It is definitely going to be a favorite!

I made this recipe according to the directions, and then altered it the next time. I made a "pot pie" version which was great! I used potatoes for the bottom, then added the chicken (w/garlic salt & pepper). I topped it with frozen veggie blend and cream of chicken soup. I topped it with 1/2 of a Pillsbury biscuit before serving. It was a huge success!

For some of the breasts, I used broccoli since some family members do not like mushrooms. I thought it was very simple and tasted great.

It was so easy and good. I did leave the ham out.

I made this for my husband and myself. It sure was a welcome change. We were in a rut for menus. I used broccoli instead of peas, cream of chicken, and I didn't use the Ham, my husband can't eat it. I will definetly make it again.

Would be a lot healthier with low sodium soup and no ham. But probably not as tasty.

You can get low sodium stuffing or just a bag of bread crumbs as a substitute for Stove Top to reduce the sodium. Also use fresh chicken breasts, not the flash frozen kind because they add a 15% sodium solution to the chicken during processing. You can also use rice, brown or white, and use a low sodium condensed soup. It ends up at more like 150-200 mgs. of soidium per serving instead.
