Foil-Pack Fish Florentine

I made just one foil pack and this was great for a single dinner. Like the last comment, I had to leave this in the over a little bit longer than the recipe calls for.

What You Need

cups instant white rice, uncooked

cups warm water

lb. flounder fillets, cut in half crosswise

cups fresh spinach leaves, coarsely chopped

cup PHILADELPHIA Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Spread

1/2

cup KRAFT Sun Dried Tomato Vinaigrette Dressing

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 375°F. Mix rice and water; spoon evenly onto center of each of 4 large sheets of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Top evenly with half of the fish. Cover with the spinach, cream cheese spread and remaining fish pieces. Drizzle each with 2 Tbsp. of the dressing.

BRING up foil sides. Double fold top and ends to seal packet, leaving room for heat circulation inside. Place foil packets in single layer in 15x10x1-inch baking pan.

BAKE 15 min. Remove packets from oven; let stand 5 min. Place 1 packet on each of 4 dinner plates. Cut slits in foil with sharp knife to release steam before opening.

I substituted catfish instead and cooked it about 10 minutes longer than suggested.The only thing i didnt like about this recipe was the cream cheese in it. It overpowered the taste of the fish.

Nothing cooked. It came out terrible and ruined the fish. It might work better if you follow what the other people do but the directions are terrible.

This is so easy! I substitued talapia and light cream cheese and then instead of putting it in the oven, we put it on the grill! Very little clean up and we loved it!

When I open the foil pack my fish was still white ,not the color of picture. I let it sit 5 minutes but in oven,foil open, with heat turnrd off to brown. Think it needed more cooking time than 15 minutes. Way to much rice, will cut rice in half next time. Very good and easy. Ingrediants called for 1/2 cup dressing but direction said to drizzel 2 tablespoons.

Good and very easy to make but had to use salad dressing by another compan, I couldn't find krafts. Not sure if that effect the taste. I plan on adding onions and maybe croutons to add more flavor.

We really didn't care for this. It was a bummer it was very pretty and easy to make. We are just not fish fans.

Seems to be on a sweet sweet side I would try something less sweet and it can be a very good dish. Okay, but bit sweet for me

Fish and cheese do not fare well together. Not good at all. The cream cheese just sat there in a blob. Awful! Will not make again-

This was very, very good! I was quite surprised at how tasty it was. It looked nothing like the photo, however (which didn't surprise me too much). The cream cheese spread didn't "melt" and just sat in blobs -- but I mixed it in and all was well. I will definitely make this again!

Absolutely wonderful and SUPER easy. It looks and tastes gourmet, but is so simple.
