This is one of the best cakes ever!!! Friends ask for it!!! I have made it with other fruits besides apple and it is just as good!!! Great with peaches!!! It is moist, delicious, and truth be told doesn't even need the caramel topping, a scoop of ice cream and you're all set. Enjoy 5********

This cake was great, very moist and flavorful. I used caramel ice cream topping instead of actual caramels and it was delicious, and a lot faster than if I had to peel off all the wrappers!

Very easy to make! The texture reminds me of bread pudding! Next time I will use extra carmel. Very good!

I am not a baker. That said, this cake turned out to perfection! I served it at a large family October birthdays celebration and everyone was impressed (with me and the cake!). It did not last long and I got four requests for the receipe. As we say at our house, this one's definately a keeper!

everyone loves this cake. i do make it in a 9X13 pan. the caramel stays on the cake and not on the cake plate.

Incredible! Tasters were impressed with the flavor- wonderful in the fall. I was impressed by how easy it was & the gourmet look to it!

This is a very moist cake. Would not make it again. Not really a lot of flavor. Did not feel it was anything extraordinary.
