Moist Caramel Apple Cake

Moist Caramel Apple Cake recipe
Inspired by a childhood favorite, this recipe reinvents the caramel apple as a cake, with fresh, tangy chopped apples baked into a treat that’s a whole lot easier to eat.

This was so delicious! It was very moist, and I got rave reviews. I will definitely be making this again!

This cake is amazing!! I added cinnamon to this. I didn't measure, just sprinkled the entire top of the batter with a bit of cinnamon. If I had it to do over, I'd take the easy way out and use caramel sundae topping! I had a hard time getting the caramels to melt. I am going to try subbing applesauce for the oil next time, too.

I followed the recipe exactly, which is odd for me to do normally I would change it to fit my taste (the only thing I did differently was put extra caramel sauce on it and wow), but I must say this is one of the most moist cakes that I have ever made. On top of that is was delicious, my family ate the whole cake in less than 2 days flat. Definitely giving this 5 stars.

I made for an office potluck...many thanks were given. The carmel sauce heavenly and easy to prepare. The cake very moist, came out of bundt pan easy, cooked an extra 7 minutes. Next time I will add cinnamon. Thanks Kraft!!!

I didn't make the recipe, but it made me rate it. Silly. Anyway - any idea what changes I'd need to make for high altitude?

I use caramel ice cream topping in place of the melted caramels -- much easier! The cake itself is delicious...but I always end up having to cook it longer than the stated time. I've substituted applesauce for the oil and Egg Beaters for the eggs in the past without ill effect. It's one of my husband's favorites!

I made this cake for the first time over the weekend, and I think I ate half of it myself. The family raved about it, as well. It was not only easy but very moist and tasty. I will definitely be making it again!
