Moist Caramel Apple Cake recipe
Inspired by a childhood favorite, this recipe reinvents the caramel apple as a cake, with fresh, tangy chopped apples baked into a treat that’s a whole lot easier to eat.

Found it too soggy. Fell apart coming out of the pan.

Was not thrilled with this cake. Fell apart taking it out of pan, and when cutting. The cake was soggy the next day because of the caramel. Don't think I will try this cake again.

I have baked this cake 3 times since the receipe came out in your latest book. It is a very big hit - just make sure you don't use the cake mix that already has some pudding in it - the additional pudding makes it almost too moist.

This was so easy and fast! I added 1 tsp. cinnamon to the batter and substituted caramel ice cream topping for the caramels. My book club loved it and have asked me to do it again!

Great cake! I lowered the fat contents by substituting the 1/3 cup oil with 1/2 cup applesauce. The whole family enjoyed this one and I didn't have the guilt enjoying it myself!

This is a wonderful cake. I added cinnamon to the batter and I added only 1/8 cup of milk to the carmel to make it thicker and it worked great!!

My husband loved this cake and he isn't big on caramel apples. Since I don't like the tartness of the granny smith I used cortland apples and it was great.
