Moist Caramel Apple Cake

Moist Caramel Apple Cake recipe
Inspired by a childhood favorite, this recipe reinvents the caramel apple as a cake, with fresh, tangy chopped apples baked into a treat that’s a whole lot easier to eat.

I thought this recipie was great! Very moist and super easy to make. Only thing I would add though is at least one or two teaspoons of cinnamon. My family loved it so it didn't last very long at our house.

Had difficulty getting the cake out of the bundt pan. I also thought the cake was far too sweet. The cake turned mushy after a few days & I threw the remaider out. Would not waste my time again.

A little too sweet for me. The caramel and the added sugar from the pudding put the sweet factor over the top. Basically it just tastes like a yellow cake with bits of mushy cooked apple with caramel on top. It is moist, but would be better if apples were lightly cooked and served on the side rather than inside the cake. Might need some spices or nuts to improve my rating. The concept sounds delicious, but the result is lacking.

DELICIOUS! Very moist cake. One recommendation, let the caramel cool a bit longer than 10 min before drizzling on cake in order to avoid spillage.

I liked it a lot and so did the people (girls) that tried it when I made it. Now for my husband and dad they didn't like the apples. I guess they didn't like the fact that there was something in the cake because they are use to having a plain cake. But it was delicious to me!!! VERY EASY to make!!!

This is a very moist cake and one my family came back for seconds. Very easy and quick to make. What a great fall recipe with apples being so fresh and plentiful. Highly recommended.

I wasn't thrilled with this recipe, the only thing you could taste is the vanilla pudding. Nice texture to the cake just not much taste. I used fresh granny smith apples and followed the recipe to the T. Sorry.

overall taste was excellent. I plan on trying it with the spice cake next time, and chopping the apples smaller or using applesauce. I found it tasted even better the next day. Also, I didn't use all the milk when melting the caramels. I will make this again the family loved it and it was easy to make.
