I have made this cake many times. It's my family's "Officially Fall" cake. There's never any left over. I use either egg whites or egg substitute, sugar free pudding, and apple sauce in place of oil, better for us but doesn't change the great taste. This cake is always a hit! I've also made the recipe in individual mini bundts and it comes out great!

This cake is absolutely***FABULOUS***!?! I have made it already several times...and it's a true VANISHING ACT!!!..I also made some modifications....by adding chopped pecans and dried cranberries...to the top of the cake...together with Caramel ice cream topping....DELICIOUS...as they all say.....:-)

It was delicious! I made a bit extra "sauce" to pour over slices of the cake My family LOVED it!

Used sugar free/fat free pudding, applesauce instead of oil, 2 egg whites for each egg and sugar free caramel topping. Turned out great and now my husband and I can enjoy it guilt free!

Maybe I should have added some cinnamon as this cake did not have much for apple flavor. It was OK, but fairly bland.

It was very good! Next time I make it I will add some cinnamon and nutmeg to give it a little extra flavor.

i really enjoyed it, very easy yet delicious! My only suggestion would be to refrigerate the cake... we dont have a/c and it sitting out on the table when its in the 80's caused the caramel t ostart stinking and the cake started to sink.... but the first day it was great!!
