This is the most tender pot roast I have ever made! It is really good. I made it with sweet potatoes instead of regular, and they turned out great! I will be making this all winter, so yummy!
NOT a fan of this recipe! Maybe you have to like Catalina dressing to truly appriciate it, but it was was way too sweet and tangy for pot roast in my opinion.
This is a wonderful pot roast. The flavor is great. I cook it in the oven for about 1 and a half hours at 350 degrees on cool days. It warms the soul as well as the kitchen.
This is the best recipe for pot roast I have ever tasted! I used an eye roast and it came out just perfect: tender and juicy and so flavorful. The Catalina dressing is what makes the dish so wonderful. So far, I have made this twice and plan to make it again. It's perfect for an every-day meal...or for company too. And it's economical--about $12 for the total recipe, which is a one-pot meal complete with veggies.

This recipe is terrific! It makes a tender, tasty roast beef and vegetables with an extremely wonderful and different flavor. I definitely will be making it again. My family loved it.

I made this on my slowcooker and it was great! Very moist, tender, and tasty. I have been asked to make it again, again and again. It is extremely easy.
We really enjoyed this delicious roast. It was very tender and juicy, and the vegetables were well seasoned. The only thing that I would do differently is to put the potatoes and carrots in a little later than the roast because after two hours of cooking, they were very soft and some were a little to mushy.
