The meat was very tender excellent!!! My husband is not big on the sweet taste so I added 2 1/2 Tbsp of soy sauce to cut the sweet a bit. Turned out great. I would definately make this again.

This is the best recipe for pot roast. I don't plan on using another recipe for roast ever again. I've never really been a fan of roast until making it this way. The only change I made was that I used fat-free dressing instead of regular and it was still FULL of flavor. I thickened the pan gravy with flour and it was just wonderful. My husband loved it, too. A keeper for us!

What great flavor! I never really liked pot roast, but my husband does, so I always made it for him like his mom made it. I really liked this recipe, and so did he! Will definitely make again!

Who would have thought to use Catalina dressing!!! My family loved it. The meat was very tender and the potatoes and carrots were really good. We are having it again this week!

One of the best and easiest roast recipes I have ever used!! Everyone loved it!!! The only thing I did differently, I added two bay leaves while simmering!! Excellent!!!

It is good with Catalina dressing but even better with French.

This is my husband's absolute favorite dish! I made it for him once a few years ago and he still says that he would eat it everyday if he could!
