What You Need

cup PLANTERS Creamy Peanut Butter

1/2

cup sugar

egg

pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate

1/2

cup finely chopped PLANTERS Unsalted COCKTAIL Peanuts

Make It

HEAT oven to 325°F.

MIX peanut butter, sugar and egg until blended. Refrigerate 30 min. Roll into 18 balls. Place, 3 inches apart, on baking sheets. Flatten each ball, in crisscross pattern, with fork.

BAKE 18 to 20 min. or until lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets 5 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.

MELT chocolate as directed on package. Partially dip cookies in chocolate; gently shake off excess chocolate. Dip cookies in nuts; place on parchment- or waxed paper-covered baking sheet. Refrigerate until chocolate is firm.

The cookie it self is very dry. But I did make another peanut butter cookie and dipped it in chocolate and that was very good. But the recipe that was given was not good at all.

EXCELLENT for peanut butter lovers, except the cookies lack the substance of a normal peanut butter cookie (perhaps because there is no flour). The added chopped peanuts make this treat delightful! I mixed crunchy peanut butter into the melted chocolate for a super-peanutty taste! YUM!

I have made these several times and they ARE as good as they look! They can be done without the chocolate and peanuts and are delicious that way also.

I have now made these twice, once with the crushed peanuts and chocolate and once without. Both times, these turned out very good. They are so simple to make, too.

This is an excellent recipe for someone with a wheat allergy. I made it to take to a meeting because we have such a person in our group & she never gets to enjoy a dessert. She loved it & everyone asked me for the recipe. Thank you!!

I am excited about this recipe! My daughter has Celiac Disease and is limited with her diet. This is one of very few cookie recipes which does not have flour. She can eat all of the ingredients.
