Deep-Dish Chicken Pot Pie

This player is created by Blackwell Team for testing.

A flaky crust surrenders to a warm veggie-and-chicken mixture infused with a savory sauce. Even better, this makeover is smarter than the classic version. Dig deep.

One of my families favorite meals - this is excellent and easy to make.

I would recommend using 3/4 cup of chicken broth to make the mixture creamier. It was too thick the first time I made it. Also, I used canned mixed veggies instead of the frozen ones. For the top, I used the Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry sheets to get the flaky crust. Make sure they are well thawed. It was even a hit with my mother-in-law!

I absolutely loved this recipe. I have made it many many times and by far it is my favorite chicken pot pie to date. I use a can of veg-all instead of frozen veggies because I love lots of potatoes in my pie. The dressing gives it an amazing kick and I love how the cream cheese and broth make a super creamy and yummy sauce and its healthier for you than other pot pies. I think this is the only pot pie recipe I will ever make again; Anyone who loves chicken pot pie has to try this recipe, you will love it.

My husband and I loved this recipe! I used 8oz of cream cheese (by mistake) but it was GREAT. I also added an unbaked crust to the bottom of the casserole dish... what's a pot pie without all the crust! I will definately make this again, with an infant to take care of it is hard to find quick meals, but this was super easy.

This recipe is so easy, and the creamy sauce has a wonderful flavor. My family loves it, even my son who's normally picky about eating anything with veggies.

My family loved this dish, but I used a top and bottom crust in fact it was from the perfect apple pie crust recipe instead of frozen than I made my own chicken stock,by slow cooking the chicken with carrots, celery, onions and garlic and then discarding everything but the chicken and the about 2cups of broth it just makes the pie less dry since I packed the pie with so much food inside .then reheating the 3 chicken breasts and veggies with potatoes cut small and I added a little more flour to make up for the extra broth

This recipe was good. The only thing that was a little off was the tangy taste of the Italian dressing. I will make this again, but I will omit the dressing or use a different one. I also used a bottom crust.

My husband loved this and ate it all up. I would recommend this when you're in a hurry too.
