Deep-Dish Chicken Pot Pie

This player is created by Blackwell Team for testing.

A flaky crust surrenders to a warm veggie-and-chicken mixture infused with a savory sauce. Even better, this makeover is smarter than the classic version. Dig deep.

I thought this recipe was awesome though I did change it a little. I used both a top and a bottom crust and I used only 2 oz of cream cheese and then added 1 can of cream of potato soup. I turned out amazing and in a 2 person household only lasted 2 days.

Pretty good. Although a little too tangy for my taste. Next time I will replace the italian dressing or cream cheese to try and reduce the tanginess.

one of my favorites, fun to play with different ingredients and bottom crusts.

I loved it. For me, i used cream cheese and added my usual three spices to almost every meal (chili powder, garlic powder and pepper). we need a little kick to our food. i added this to the chicken. I used the pie crust to fit the top of the dish and had a bit left over, so i used that for the bottom layer. IT was delicious and my husband loved it. He needs to eat our ethnic food at least 6 days of week and once a week, i get to try out diff't recipes and usually he's blah about it, but this one, he approved.

I wanted to like this dish sooo bad, but I just didn't care for the taste of the cream cheese. It didn't taste like a normal pot pie would. I guess if you like the taste of cream cheese in your pot pies, then this is the recipe for you.

This recipe was easy to make. I have also added a few other vegetables for more variety.

It was very good and I will never buy another frozen chicken pot pie again.

My only advice is to make sure you use good quality mixed veggies - but otherwise, this recipe is fantastic!

This is the BEST chicken pot pie I have ever eaten. I have shared the recipe with several friend and have taken it to a couple of pot luck dinners. VERY EASY.
