I didn't think this had much flavor. I wouldn't make it again.

This recipe's great! I used part-maple syrup and part-honey (not exactly sure the exact measurements, just whatever I had in the house) and it turned out fabulous! A lot of the comments mention that the apples didn't get soft enough... I used Rome apples (which seem to be a little bit softer than the average), and they absorbed the syrup flavor perfectly! I served this with white cheddar mashed potatoes and spinach salad. :)

I always marinade it first thing in the am in the syrup and dressing. By the time I get home it has marinaded for over 8 hours! It ALWAYS comes out juicy and flavorful! I make it atleast once a week! SOOOOO GOOD!

So I made this recioe last night and it was thrown in the trash. Might have been better if the apples were to be cooked beforehand and the chicken needed some type of seasoning or marinated in the sauce. With all the rave reviews I was very suprised :(

I didn't have any Zesty Italian dressing, so I used another brand of balsamic vinegarette instead and it was really good!! Even my kids (5 and 2) liked the flavor, although the apples were a bit too mushy for my taste. I'll experiment with another variety of apple next time. I also think I'll stick with the balsamic dressing. A keeper!

i used 1/4 cup maple syrup and 1/4 cup honey instead of just the syrup, have made this many times w/ whatever type of apples and onions I have on hand- is always excellent!

I made this for a get together with friends and family...never made it before so i was a little scared....it was a HUGE hit. everyone LOVED it! I've made it several times since!

I made this just on top of the stove, using sugar-free maple syrup. Turned out great! My husband raved about the wonderful taste. I also made the Maple Glazed Carrots as a side dish. All leftovers went to work with my husband!! Will definitely make this again.

the longer you cook this in the oven the better - turn chicken and it gets nice and carmelized
