I prepared this and it was great, I would pre cook or cook the apples seperate they did not get as soft as my family likes them. But all in all it was a great meal.
This was wonderful! I substituted 1/4 cup (real) maple syrup. My husband asked me to make it again. I've given the recipe to friends who just loved it.
I didn't have apples, but it tasted great anyway.
I thought that this recipe was great. It was easy to make. I will definitely make it again. The next time I make it; I will make more sauce and add vegetables to it.
I made this recipe for my sister's BD dinner and it was so good that my sister got the recipe and made it days later and I made it a 2nd time. For the side dish, I made jasmine coconut rice (cooked in coconut milk) and we ended up putting the chicken over the rice. Make sure that you do not overcook the chicken, so it will be tender. I had a nice salad on the side with oranges, apples, sliced black olives, red onions, zesty itillian dressing and some blue cheese dressing. I left it in the fridge for an hour before serving it over romaine. Yummy dinner!

very tasty and a super easy weeknight meal. I did not even pan cook the chicken. I cut it into long tenders layered it in the casserole and baked. I did homeowrk with my little guy while it baked. Flavors were great!
My family thought I was crazy when I told them what I was making. It was a hit!!! My 15 year old daughter makes it all the time.
My husband and I did not like this recipe. It tasted very much like syrup, which does not go with chicken in my opinion, but if you really like maple you might like this.
We didn't really like the flavor; it seemed bland.
