substituting cream-style corn for the whole kernal corn makes it even better!
Each time I have made this, my family gobbled it up. The only changes I made to suit out taste were to use chicken broth instead of water and lightly sprinkle the chicken breasts with poultry seasoning.
When making this recipe there needs to be some type of seasoning added to the chicken. Once cooked I had to add salt and pepper to it.
Sounds good, but it doesn't work. No one who ate this enjoyed it.
This was not a good recipe. The flavors and textures did not blend well. No one in the household liked it.
I tried this recipe it is very flavorful. I like dishes that can be put 9in the oven while I do other things.
Didn't have a whole lot of flavor. Wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't make it again.
This meal was okay but probably wouldn't make again. A little dry and not too much flavor. But healthy and not too bad.
I read the reviews before making this and made my own adjustments. I used 2 1/2 cups of cooked chicken, frozen spinach well drained, frozen corn and half a cup of buttermilk ranch. By using pre cooked chicken, it eliminated the sogginess of the stuffing. I mixed the ranch with the spinach and the sweetcorn and I used less water than was called for. And also season the dish as you go along with salt and pepper or with whatever spices you have on hand, otherwise the dish will be bland. The dish was definitely crusty, but with all the changes I made, it was still dry. It definitely needs soup or gravy to give it the consistency it needs.
I read the reviews concerning the bland taste that some had given this recipe. So I added Bacon Bits, paprika, minced onions, and roasted garlic to the chicken. My family devoured this dish. Will make again.
