Wonderful recipe...it is very simple and quite delicious. I used Italian flavored stewed tomatoes and added some oregano. Very tasty! I've already made this receipe a couple of times and will add it as a staple soup in my kitchen!

This was really good. I doubled the chicken broth and added a half cup of water. Next time I will used diced tomatoes because the stewed tomatoes were bigger than bite size. My husband who is not a "soup-guy" loved it.

My husband even ate this....and he's definitely a meat and potatoes man. We both agreed it had a good flavor (I sauteed onions with the chicken)...and was truly filling.

My family loved this. It is now one of our favorites. I used the Italian seasoned stewed tomatoes instead of the plain. With it we had whole wheat french bread that I drizzeled with olive oil and sprinkled with garlic salt and Italian seasoning. The recipe says it serves two, but It served my husband and I and our two small kids. We still had leftovers. This soup is a must have for those cold winter days.

I made this for my husband and toddler...both loved it. I doubled this recipe and I will definately have enough for 2 meals. Next time I make it I think I will try adding some kidney bean or chopped up potatoes as well.

I quadrupled this recipe when I made it, but only used 3 zucchini instead of 4. I used medium shells instead of elbows and used a full box (MUCH more than the recipe called for, even when multiplied by 4, but we loved it with lots of pasta and less broth. It also needed salt for flavor, so I used Morton Lite Salt.
