Great recipe. Half a teaspoon of jam does the trick. I found 17-18 minutes to be the perfect timing for the cookies. Will definetely back again.

I made mine with almonds instead of pecans, and they worked out great! I used raspberry and blackberry jam, although I put too much on the cookies before baking them and they ran over onto the cookie sheets. They taste great and are not too sweet. I will make these again soon!

I used the end of a wooden spoon to make the indentation and it was easier than using my finger. I also used guave jelly instead of preserves and it gave these cookies a very tropical taste. Lastly I sprinkled a little bit of powdered sugar on top. Delicious, easy and fast recipe!

If you roll into one inch balls as recomended one tsp preserves is too mutch, I used one half teaspoon on my second batch and they turned out much better. This dough is also good without the preserves with half of the cookie dipped in chocalate.
