What You Need

pkg. (16 oz.) frozen vegetable blend (broccoli, carrots, cauliflower) (3 cups)

pkg. (14 oz.) KRAFT Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese Dinner Made With 2% Milk Cheese

cup fat-free milk

1/4

cup KRAFT Lite Zesty Italian Dressing

lb. extra-lean ground beef, cooked, drained

cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese, divided

Make It

HEAT oven to 375°F.

PLACE frozen vegetables in colander in sink. Cook Macaroni as directed on package. Pour cooked macaroni over vegetables in colander to drain and quickly thaw vegetables.

RETURN macaroni and vegetables to same saucepan. Add Cheese Sauce, milk and dressing; mix well. Add cooked meat and 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese; mix well. Spoon into 2-qt. casserole; cover.

BAKE 35 min. or until heated through. Top with remaining Cheddar; bake, uncovered, 3 to 4 min. or until cheese is melted.

We made over a favorite KRAFT recipe. Save 110 calories, 13 g of fat and 4 g of saturated fat per serving by preparing with extra-lean ground beef instead of 80% lean ground beef and using KRAFT Light Zesty Italian Dressing and KRAFT Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese Dinner Made with 2% Milk Cheese instead of the regular products.

Substitute

Substitute 1 can (12 oz.) white tuna in water, drained, for the cooked ground beef.

Make Ahead

Prepare as directed except for baking; cover. Refrigerate up to 24 hours. When ready to serve, bake, covered, at 375°F for 40 to 45 min. or until heated through. Remove from oven; uncover. Top with remaining cheese. Let stand 5 min. or until cheese is melted.

It tasted great! I made this for a big family and it wasn't cheesy enough so next time i'll use more cheese because my family loves cheesy food.

I have 3 children, one who is extremely picky, but she ate 2 plates of this! Everyone liked the recipe. I'll make it again and it fits in well for a quick warm up after evening sports practices too!

I have a brood of picky eaters in my family. My oldest doesn’t like any food to touch, but she loved this recipe. Both kids asked for seconds. I loved that it was all one pot. Even my husband cleaned his plate.

I liked this recipe and will make it again, but next time I think I will season the meat more and add more italian dressing to give it more flavor.

This recipe was very easy to make. I used Cheddar cheese instead of the sharp cheese. The kids liked this one too. Would make this one again. Overall, good recipe.

I added onions & garlic to the ground beef as I cooked it. I also used Mexican shredded cheese instead of the Sharp Cheddar. Good recipe.

I used boca crumbles instead of ground beef to make this even lighter...it was just ok. After my husband added a little Red Hot sauce, it tasted much better. If I made it again, I might add some diced tomatoes or something. I won't make it again.

This recipe was so easy to make. My mother in law was over for dinner the night I made it and we all loved it. I will definately make this a frequent meal at our house.
