I have grown up on these bars. Both my mother and grandmother made these. I now make them for my family. My kids love them and my daughter has already asked me if I would give her the recipe when she grows up and moves out of the house.

I have made this recipe many times and I actually got the recipe from my mother. I use 12 oz melted milk chocolate chips instead of the semi-sweet and think that they take better.

These are soooo good. Adults and children both love these. And so easy to make.

I was so glad to see a favorite recipe that had gotten lost in several military moves. My family just loved seeing these treats on our family menu again. Thank you for bringing it back for many more generations to share.

I have made these for years --a family favorite. I like to split the chocolate and put a thin layer on the bottom and place it in the freezer for a few minutes so it can set before I spread the peanut butter layer then the blance of the chocolate.

My family are peanut butter and chocolate lovers, so you can imagine what happened when I made these. They ate the whole batch. Thanks for such a wonderful recipe.

I have made these bars several times now, and have received compliments and requests for the recipe every time! They taste a lot like peanut-butter cups, so it's like having homemade candy ready and waiting, but they serve a lot more people and cost a lot less.

I have made this recipe before (by just experimenting), and now i tried this way; it tastes just as good- but I now know how to make it with just the right amount of everything!

Excellent dessert to serve my 3 big football guys when they come in from practice. It is quick and easy and they love it.
