No-Oven Peanut Butter Squares

What You Need

1/2

cup butter or margarine

cups powdered sugar

1-1/2

cups NABISCO Graham Cracker Crumbs

cup PLANTERS Creamy Peanut Butter

pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, broken into pieces, melted

Make It

LINE 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan.

MELT butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 45 sec. Add next 3 ingredients; mix well. Spread into prepared pan; cover with chocolate.

CUT partially through dessert to mark 48 squares. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm. Use foil handles to remove dessert from pan; cut into squares.

How to Make Thicker Squares

Reduce chocolate to 2 pkg. (4 oz. each). Prepare recipe as directed, using 9-inch square pan. Cut into 24 squares to serve. Makes 24 servings, 1 square each.

Easy Microwave Melting of BAKER'S Chocolate

Microwave BAKER'S Chocolate to be used in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 30 sec.; stir. Microwave 30 sec. more; stir. Continue heating and stirring in 10-sec. increments until chocolate is completely melted.

This was very easy. The mixture was difficult to mix because it was very dry but overall still easy. I think next time I will use the entire 2 bars of chocolate instead of 1 1/2.

I made these bars over the summer and they were a HIT! My husband was so devastated that I took them to work, I had to make a new batch just for him. Note...I store these in the fridge and/or freezer. In fact, I like them even better when they're right out of the fridge!
