No-Oven Peanut Butter Squares

What You Need

1/2

cup butter or margarine

cups powdered sugar

1-1/2

cups NABISCO Graham Cracker Crumbs

cup PLANTERS Creamy Peanut Butter

pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, broken into pieces, melted

Make It

LINE 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan.

MELT butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 45 sec. Add next 3 ingredients; mix well. Spread into prepared pan; cover with chocolate.

CUT partially through dessert to mark 48 squares. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm. Use foil handles to remove dessert from pan; cut into squares.

How to Make Thicker Squares

Reduce chocolate to 2 pkg. (4 oz. each). Prepare recipe as directed, using 9-inch square pan. Cut into 24 squares to serve. Makes 24 servings, 1 square each.

Easy Microwave Melting of BAKER'S Chocolate

Microwave BAKER'S Chocolate to be used in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 30 sec.; stir. Microwave 30 sec. more; stir. Continue heating and stirring in 10-sec. increments until chocolate is completely melted.

This is a favorite!!! I've made several times and it's always a big hit. Great for bake sales and so easy.

These are AWESOME!! If you don't have the baking squares, you can substitute 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips with two TBSP vegetable or canola oil and microwave for about 40 seconds. Stop after 20 seconds and stir. ENJOY!!

These would have been amazing had I not substituted an ingredient. I didn't have regular peabut butter on hand but I had fresh ground PB so I used that instead. Don't! It needs the moisture from the added oils in the PB. It has a gritty, crunchy texture from the powdered sugar. Next time I'm going to use a PB blended with nonhydrogenated oils.

This recipe was delicious! It tasted like Reeses peanut butter cups! They were easy to make. I only needed the microwave to make these, so the house won't get hot from having the oven on!
