Easy Baked Fish & Chips recipe
They'll never want frozen fish sticks again once they try this crispy, flaky baked haddock. And these potato wedges? Best chips ever.

I had trouble with this recipe. The dressing didnt stay on the potatoes (they barely had enough flavor), and the breading wouldnt stay on the fish. especially when turning the fish over to bread the other side and then also on the underside when cooking. My boyfriend and i also had a diffence of opinion as to whether the fish was done or not. It looked flaky to me but he said it was too chewy (which he 'says' means its undercooked). Also, the cod fillets we bought were very odd shaped rather than the perfect rectangular shape shown in the photo. I would still try another attempt at this recipe but i would definitely would try to figure out a way to make everything stick.
This recipe was great! Quick, easy to make and delicious. My husband who has had heart problems loved it. We're tired of making fish the same old way. A Must Try, you'll be glad you did!!!
This was very easy. In fact, this was the first time I ever baked fish! The fish remained flaky and moist.
What an easy delicious recipe. I used grouper and lite mayo instead. The potatoes came out flavorful and crisp. The fish was zesty and moist. I served it with green peas instead of coleslaw. I would definitely try it again.
My husband did the fish and I did the "chips" . He only put mayo and the breading on one side and it still turned out good. I can see though how it would have been better with the mayo and breading on both sides. This was good with tartar sauce and a side of peas and carrots. Most of my kids enjoyed this, only the pickiest ones just ate the potatos and veggies and skipped the fish.
Great combination of the Shake & Bake and the Miracle Whip for the fish! I used turbot instead of cod, as the grocery store was out - still was very tasty. Would recommend using an average size baking potato to make sure they're cooked thoroughly before serving. Very, very tasty!
My whole family loved it, even my four and two year old children! But I am the one in my family that doesn't like fish, and I will definitely make this one again. I used mayo, not Miracle whip too. Still great!
Loved it!!!!! We used Kraft Tarter Sauce instead of Miracle Whip. It was a hit for a party of 12 that we had! I can't wait to make this again!
I used mayo instead of miracle whip. I loved the taste this recipe gave to the fish! Simple, but VERY good. My 9yr old fish-hater even liked it! I didnt' do the potatoes...just made the fish & served with tater tots as I was pressed for time. Will definitely make again!!!
I love this recipe it is so easy to make and everyone enjoy it even the ones who do not like seafood.
