Easy Baked Fish & Chips

Easy Baked Fish & Chips recipe
You'll never eat frozen fish sticks again once you dig into our crispy, flaky haddock. And our "chips"? Zestier than ordinary french fries.

Good recipe. I used sour cream instead of mayo since my husband doesn't like mayo and it worked great and gave it a creamy texture.

We didn't make the potatoes, just the fish. We used fresh haddock and sprinkled some McCormick salmon seasoning on it first. Then, we used Lite Miracle Whip. It was a little tangy for my liking since I prefer mayo over Miracle Whip. It's still a great recipe. I can't wait to try it again with mayo next time.

I was not able to get the extra Crisp Shake-n-Bake but I do not thing that it would have helped. My family did not care for this at all.

I used both packets of the Shake and Bake to make the cod and potatoes extra crispy. The potatoes cooked perfectly. I only wish I'd made more.

This recipe was tasty, but it didn't really come out looking anything like the picture. The fish kind of fell apart of me, but it may have been due to me using frozen cod instead of fresh. Next time I'll see if fresh makes a difference. Also, it seemed like their was a rather large portion of potatoes in comparison to the fish.

The fish was reaaly good. I used Grouper instead. However, The temp and directions is a little off. I had to cook the fish closer to a 1/2 hr then the 15 min indicated. Also it helps to turn the broiler on last 10 min to help crisp the topping. But just as good without topping either!
