Baked Potato Fans

The potatoes tasted bland even with the dressing. I had to add some black pepper, garlic, and onion powder to give this recipe a little more flavor. I do still like the idea of making fans more than just eating a plain baked potato. The kids were able to eat it without making a mess and get the nutritious fiber that is in the potato skin.

By the time the potatoes were actually done, they were dried out and rubbery, with little flavor.

Fabulous. It made for a beautiful presentation!

Cooked the potatoes about 1 hour and 15 minutes, they were no where near being done, not sure what went wrong

Loved this recipe! My husband gets sick of the same-old, same-old potatoes, and this was a great change-up. I could not find the vinaigrette at my usual grocery store, so I just used the regular Kraft sun-dried tomato dressing, and the potatoes tasted great. The only thing I would do differently is cut the potatoes a little deeper so that they fan out more. I had no issues with the recommended cooking time. Very quick and easy to make.

Deffinately a "do-again"! Nextime I won't cook it as long. I cut several slits to really get the dressing flavor into the potato and they turned out a bit too done because I still cooked them the full time. I also might try basting some dressing on them at the halfway point.

This was delicious and a great change from the same old thing for dinner. I nuked the potatoes about 2 min each and used Italian dressing. I will definitely make this again but nuke the potatoes a bit more next time.

they did not trun out right i think next time i will cook the potato frist then put the stuff on it and then put it in the oven to heat it up .

My grandkids just loved these. I used italian dressing instead added salt and pepper. While they were cooking I also put a little more dressing over the potatoes for more flavor. I baked them longer than called for to make sure they were done. Very easy and very pretty on the plate.
