Sweet & White Potato Spears

I get rave reviews everytime I make these. It is a great way to get your kids (or hubby) to eat sweet potatoes, which are packed with more nutrients than their Idaho cousins. They are especially good with a mild flavored fish.

Cooked according to the recipe, they weren't very good. The next day I saved them by putting them in a skillet, adding a little dressing, and they were GREAT!

I was disappointed in this recipe. After seeing in the Kraft magazine and all the great reviews on the website I tried it to pair wtih Steak. It took double the cooking time for me, and when it was done, you couldn't taste the italian dressing anymore or the cheese. It ended up coming out tasting just like potatoes. I will pass on this recipe in the future.

These were delicious! A wonderful alternative with the sweet potato spears! The picky kids weren't impressed, not even with the white potatoes! I still will make these again and even try some of the suggested seasonings substitutes. Very tasty!

These were spectacular. If you cut up the potatoes and microwave them for 5 min before you put them in the oven it cuts the time in half.

These were an okay alternative to real french fries... next time I'll omit the parm. cheese and use black pepper and garlic salt to season.

I add onions to this recipe. It is so easy to roast in the same pan as the meat you are cooking. The dressing gives the potatoes a wonderful flavor. Try it!

delicious as a side dish or snack!! i added a bit of chili powder for a spicier kick. the whole family loved them, even the ones who don't care for sweet potatoes!

I was surprised by how good this tasted, the sweet potatoes were great as a savory dish. I'm awful with the knife so I couldn't cut the potatos into spears but they tasted just fine cubed. It's great that something this easy tastes so good.

This is a very good recipe. I also made it with frozen french fries. They turned out pretty good. I just coated them with the Italian dressing and the Parmesan Cheese and baked them like it said on the package. YUM YUM Good
