I can never get my kids to each spinach. I don't blame them I don't like it either. But this was really good. I only used items I had in my kitchen, so I changed it a little. I used Monterey Jack instead of Cheddar and I used bread crumbs instead of Ritz crackers. Next time I will make the way it should be. My kids even had seconds.
This is the only way I can get my husband to eat spinach. My whole family enjoys it from my 3 year old on up. Its also super easy. So I always keep the ingredients on hand.
I substituted KRAFT fat free caesar dressing and parmisian cheese. Very good!
I made this for a church picnic. I asked my husband to put it in the oven and bring it to the picnic, I went on ahead to help set up. He was late and over half of the people already ate. Well after everyone had eaten I went back to clean up and collect my dish and it was completely empty. Other dishes that were there from the start still had leftovers! I'm making this again for Thanksgiving.
I took this to a party and it was the first thing to go! Everyone loved it. I used low fat cheese instead of fat free, but it was still one of the healthiest things there. I love when I can make healthy food that people can't get enough of!
I have tried many spinach casseroles over the years. This is my favorite. My entire family loves it when I make thie casserole.
This was ok. I love spinach, but this wasn't as creamy as I thought it would be.
The taste is amazing!! I could have eaten this as the main course!! I plan on making this dish regularly. thanks! Emily in Arizona
EXCELLENT dish!! I make it every Thanksgiving and Christmas... I use a little extra cheese, crackers and ranch for more flavor and I bake it a little bit longer until the edges are crispy. It's a success every time!
This was very easy to make. I think it could be served as a warm appetizer with crackers. My store was out of the correct cream cheese so I used the garden vegetable type.
