Really tasty. I used boneless chicken breast instead of thighs. Super easy. I also did it on the stove rather than a slow cooker.
This recipe was delicious and very easy to make. My kitchen smelled fabulous all day with the pungent aroma of Madras Curry. It's a bit rich in flavors which I believe is why the recipe says it serves 10 people.
Not very flavorful and it tasted nothing like curry.
Delicious! I often take this to events and always get compliments. I use boneless skinless chicken thighs.
I thought it was pretty good. Husband loved it. I love chicken curry and thought the recipe looked very good. I want to mention that when you make it, you put in the sour cream last. Before you add the sour cream, your dish may not look yellow. I mention this because all day I looked at the food and thought - this doesn't look right - am I doing something wrong. And then I put in the sour cream and it looked delicious! And it was! ??
This recipe is the bomb! I love it! Tastes really good when it sets in the juices after you put the sour cream in. The meat is literally falling off the bone. I will definitely be making this again!
First off you must use fresh salsa, homemade or fresh from your produce department at your grocery store. Second you must use hot curry seasoning or it will be bland. Its really just salsa chicken with curry seasoning.curry is a strong flavor and its not for everyone. enjoy!
My husband and I were looking forward to this recipe, but we were very disappointed. There was no flavor and the chicken was dry. I even heated the curry ahead of time. I won't be making this again.
Loved it! So easy and good. I have to admit when it was cooking I wasn't too fond of the smell but it turned out great. Will be making this again!
Should specify boneless chicken. I added garam masala to mine for more flavor. I messed up and added the sour cream at the beginning, but just thickened it up with cornstarch at the end. My family loved it. My 2 year old even enjoyed it. Surprisingly close to restaurant curry - my husband agreed.
