Great recipe. My great(but very picky) husband said that he wouldn't change anything--that says a lot!
This was my first time making anything "Curry", and we were a little hesitant, especially when it called for salsa. This was DELICIOUS, and easy. And surprisingly, it got even better the next day for leftover-lunch! I served with some jasmine rice. Definitely a keeper/repeater for the whole family.
Oh my gosh, this is so good and so simple to make. We've made it three times already. Tastes great the first day and even better the next. You have to try it.
This was really good. Meat just fell off the bones. I added chick peas and extra salsa. Yummy
This recipe is great. Not too spicy. I add cubed potatoes and they turn out delicious!
As a Jamaican I was suspicous about this. I used boneless thighs and it was done in 4 hrs on low. Very very tasty!
Not only did this taste good, but really fast and easy.
I have been making this for almost a year now and it is one of our favorites. I use the medium salsa to give it just a little more heat and serve with jasmine rice and lesueur peas. The leftovers are awesome and leave my coworkers drooling!!! I Have given this recipe out to many people and all have enjoyed it.
I thought this was delicious! I took Kraft's suggestion and heated the curry powder in the microwave for 30 seconds. It was a little mild, so I added some hot sause to mine. I used mild salsa as my wife doesn't like spicy stuff, and even then she thought it was hot. We cooked brown rice on which we served it. Delicious. I used the high heat in the slow cooker so that we could do it in less time.
My family and I love spicy foods, so I added some cayenne pepper to this. We will definitely make this again. Already on my grocery list for next month.
