This was excellent! I used 1 3/4 pound of breast instead of thighs an extra TB. of curry for more spice and a sprinkle each of cumin and turmeric. I don't know HOW people are not liking this or saying it is bland!! Unless the additional spices make a huge difference : )

this was just so-so. I don't think I'd make it again. Not very flavorful in my opinion -- it needed something...just can't think of what! Not awful, just not that great.

I thought it tasted very good. It wasn't spicy enough for me though and I added to heaping tablespoons of curry powder. I'll have to add red pepper flakes next time to give it some extra kick. Also, while I was eating it, I kept wishing I had some nan bread. That would have given it some real Indian flair.

I messed up when reading the recipe, I mixed the sour cream in with the salsa, so I wasn't about to start over. I need to try it again - kids weren't thrilled, but husband liked the sauce.

I will definitely make this recipe again. Next time I will use boneless chicken thighs. My husband like this also. I served it with green beans and mashed potatoes. Otherwise, I wouldn't change anything.

This had great flavor! Used a medium picante sauce, so it was spicy. Made half the recipe, but used 6 boneless, skinless thighs. Sauce wasn't thick enough, so we ate it in bowls with spoons, and added some cauliflower. Might add a little cornstarch or flour to thicken it up next time.

This smelled so good as it cooked all day. But was so disappointed when it was finished. The chicken was very bland. You would think the curry would spice it up a bit but it didn't. Needed something extra, but don't even care for it enough to experiment and make it better.

Great recipe. Can be cooked in a dutch oven on the stove top for about 45minutes to 1 hour. I used all ingredients listed and also added half can of tomatoe paste, 2 Tbls.minced garlic, and 1Cup chicken broth. I did not add sour cream as the sauce was thick enough. This sauce could have been strained, thickened if needed and served laddled over the chicken for a more elegant presentation.

I have made a dish like this I used cream of mushroom soup instead of the salsa and it was very good .
