What You Need

lb. extra lean ground beef

cups water

cup TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINALS® Thick 'N Chunky Salsa

pkg. (14 oz.) KRAFT Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese Dinner Made With 2% Milk Cheese

cups frozen corn

1/2

cup KRAFT Mexican Style 2% Milk Finely Shredded Four Cheese

green onion, chopped

Make It

BROWN meat in large skillet on medium-high heat; drain.

ADD water, salsa and Macaroni; stir. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover. Simmer 10 min. or until macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally. Add corn and Cheese Sauce; stir. Cook 2 min. or until heated through.

Substitute

Add powerhouse vegetables to this dinner by substituting red or yellow peppers and tomatoes for the corn.

Another bland receipe from KRAFT. From now on I'm going to add "a little of this and a little of that" to their recipes b/c the last 3 I've made were bland. The green onions were too much for us with this dish.

This is a quick and easy dinner to make on a week night. My husband really likes it. It's a little bland, so I add about a teaspoon of cumin and about a tablespoon of chili powder. Much tastier.

I don't like spicy foods so I made it with mild salsa. I thought it was wonderful though. I put extra cheese on top and next time I think I will throw a few more veggies in it.

I thought this recipe was very good. Also it was very easy to prepare. It was super cheesy so I omitted adding the shredded cheese on top when serving.

I didn't make it with the mac and cheese that comes with the cheese packet. I think it would have been better that way.

My husband loves this. We made this for a party and put it in a casserole dish, added more cheese to the top and sprinkled on green onions. I had several requests for the recipe which i of course shared and added this web site.

I substituted the ground beef for diced chicken breast. It was a hit and a family favorite.
