What You Need

lb. extra lean ground beef

cups water

cup TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINALS® Thick 'N Chunky Salsa

pkg. (14 oz.) KRAFT Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese Dinner Made With 2% Milk Cheese

cups frozen corn

1/2

cup KRAFT Mexican Style 2% Milk Finely Shredded Four Cheese

green onion, chopped

Make It

BROWN meat in large skillet on medium-high heat; drain.

ADD water, salsa and Macaroni; stir. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover. Simmer 10 min. or until macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally. Add corn and Cheese Sauce; stir. Cook 2 min. or until heated through.

The basic recipe was excellent, and with just a few changes, you can adjust this recipe to your family preferences. Adding onions, more or different veggies, different salsa can only make this better.

The only thing I would do is add an onion and some hot peppers to the hamburger while it cooks. We like some foods on the hot side and this is one.

My finance and I loved this dish! He is very picky and doesn't like left overs, but he made an exception for this dish! I added a bag of steamed veggies instead of the corn... that worked out great! I would definitely recommend this dish!

My husband made this dish last night, and it turned out delicious. To give you an idea of just how good it was, he took the leftovers to work this morning to have for lunch, and he does not eat leftovers of any kind, ever.

I added taco seasoning to the hamburger for a little extra flavor. This dish is a huge hit at my house!

I used onions and mushrooms instead of corn and instead used a salsa with corn kernels. Yum!
