What You Need

lb. extra lean ground beef

cups water

cup TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Salsa

pkg. (14 oz.) KRAFT Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese Dinner Made With 2% Milk Cheese

cups frozen corn

1/2

cup KRAFT Mexican Style 2% Milk Finely Shredded Four Cheese

green onion, chopped

Make It

BROWN meat in large skillet on medium-high heat; drain.

ADD water, salsa and Macaroni; stir. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover. Simmer 10 min. or until macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally. Add corn and Cheese Sauce; stir. Cook 2 min. or until heated through.

Substitute

Add powerhouse vegetables to this dinner by substituting red or yellow peppers and tomatoes for the corn.

Pretty good. I added 1+ tbls of chili powder and I substituted the corn for red peppers, grape tomatoes, and black olives. It was alright, not bad. I wanted more zest though. Probably would have been better with taco seasoning in the meat.

This is great, but try using a packet of taco seasoning and a can of rotel instead of salsa, it gives it that extra zing. So easy to make, my husband loves it.

Nice and simple when you need dinner in a hurry! Didn't have enough zing, though. Next time, will use a spicier salsa and more of it.

Better than a boxed hamburger dinner. But not that tasty overall. I added the chili powder for the extra kick. Easy and quick weeknight meal.

Fast and easy, the only thing I would change is to add a can of tomatoes. Very good though. makes ALOT of leftovers!
