Base recipe is a little bland, but after some tweaks, this is a regular in my meal rotation - so quick and easy! I always add a can of Rotel and a small can of diced green chiles to the simmer, along with about 1/2 can of rinsed black beans. I also add about 1/3 packet of taco seasoning to the mean when I brown it. I don't add nearly that much corn (it's a LOT of corn, which has no nutritional value), and I don't bother with the green onions (they're just a garnish). A little sour cream makes it nice and creamy, too :-) Even my husband, who hates casseroles, loves it now!

This is my husband's absolute favorite meal! He always requests it and lucky for me, it is super simple and quick to make! I don't change anything in this recipe, tastes great as is!

Very easy to make and very tasty. I added some chili powder to it and also some hot sauce to my own plate.

This was terrible!!! I followed the recipe to the letter. The dish turned out terribly bland. It needed way more seasoning. Maybe a packet of taco seasoning would have helped it out a bit, but I'm not sure. I won't be making this again!!!

i love this recipe its so easy to make during a weeknight and delicious. I made it for my husband, his sister, and her toddler they loved it ate the whole pot. so it is kid and adult friendly. the deluxe mac and cheese gives it that little zing that everybody loves.

My husband doesn't like goulash. That is what he thought this tasted like. I thought it was good with the green onions. I also added some pico de gallo and/or some fresh diced tomatoes. Yumm.

Didn't work for me, the taste of the salsa mixed in was not appealing. Next time I would leave it out and it would be fine.
