What You Need

2-1/2

cups flour

tsp. Magic Baking Powder

tsp. baking soda

1/2

tsp. salt

cup butter, softened

cup Kraft Extra Creamy Peanut Butter

cup each granulated sugar and packed brown sugar

eggs

tsp. vanilla

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

MIX flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside. Beat butter, peanut butter and sugars in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well after each addition.

DROP tablespoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray. Flatten each, in criss-cross pattern, with tines of fork.

BAKE 8 to 10 min. or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets 5 min.; transfer to wire racks. Cool completely.

Storage Know-How

After cookies are completely cooled, wrap them tightly in plastic wrap and place in airtight container. Store at room temperature up to 3 days. Or, freeze in freezer-weight resealable plastic bag up to 1 month. Thaw at room temperature before serving.

Prepare using Kraft Crunchy Peanut Butter.

very simple recipe- I tried dropping dough by tablespoon onto cookie sheet, but rolling them in my hands size of big gum ball then making "X" with fork has a much better presentation.. Tasty, good, but a little on the thin side !

So easy! My nine year old wanted to learn to bake and I started her out with this recipe. They came out soft, chewy and delicious. She is very excited about what to bake next.

These are great cookies. Also they are a good size, none of this one biter types.

I made the recipe exactly as shown and the batter was so light and fluffy! My cookies came out flatter and wider than the picture but were lightly crispy on the outside and stayed soft for 3 days (they only lasted THAT long because I hid some and brought them out on the third day!)
