We've made this recipe several times and it's been a hit for everyone. Not only do we add in more of the veggies the recipie calls for, but we add in sweet potatoes and it's a hearty meal in one roasting pan. This is very, very easy to prepare and can be done with toddlers running about!
Delicious. Many people commented that the vegetables did not cook enough. So I used a can of whole potatoes, a can of sweet potatoes, baby carrots, and frozen pearl mushrooms. I drained all of the canned vegetables and otherwise followed the recipe with the Catalina Dressing ( I used fat free). The pork was delicious, the vegetables were cooked to perfection and this was a true time saver. I even used a disposable foil roasting pan. I did not have to cover the pan. Meat was juicy and vegetables were perfect.
I made this for a welcome to fall dinner. It was such a huge hit. I didn't put any veggies in with the roast and it was absolutely amazing and everyone wanted the recipe!
I mixed several of my favorite spices together and rubbed them onto pork B4 I coated with dressing. The vegetables were the best part of the meal for me. Dressing added a very nice flavor to them.
Everyone at dinner liked it (my husband and our 4 kids) , I thought it was a little bland, but I would make it again.
WOW! I fixed this for a dinner party and everyone just had to know how I made it. no one could believe how easy it was! I left out all the potatoes and veggies I just used the dressing and cooked it that way.
The pork was okay, but the veggies did not taste good with dressing.
Pork was fantastic! Carrots were still a little under-done, but I think they would be OK if you put them in with the potatoes instead of waiting.
Fantastic & very easy!
The meat was great, but some of the beets and potatoes were still raw when the dish was done. I had cut them into bite-sized pieces, much smaller than the recipe called for. The carrots were tender enough, and I had added some whole mushrooms, which also turned out well.
