Easy Roasted Pork

This smart and juicy pork entrée only looks like you worked all day on it. Just 20 minutes prep and this one is on its way to delicious, with an occasional baste from you.

What You Need

boneless pork roast (3 lb.)

3/4

cup KRAFT Classic CATALINA Dressing, divided

lb. baking potatoes (about 4), cut into 2-inch chunks

beets (1 lb.), cut into 2-inch chunks

onions (1 lb.), cut into 2-inch chunks

carrots (1 lb.), cut into 2-inch chunks

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

PLACE meat in roasting pan sprayed with cooking spray; brush with 1/2 cup dressing. Toss potatoes and beets with 2 Tbsp. of the remaining dressing; spoon around meat. Bake 15 min.

TOSS onions and carrots with remaining dressing. Add to ingredients in roasting pan.

BAKE 1 hour or until meat is done (145°F), basting occasionally with pan juices. Remove from oven; let stand 10 min. Slice meat. Serve with vegetables.

Always purchase meat towards the end of a shopping trip so that it is out of refrigeration for the shortest time possible. Take home and refrigerate promptly. It is a good idea to put packages of raw meat in plastic bags to avoid any leakage onto other foods, especially produce.

My family loved this recipe!! We omitted the beets, but the food was wonderful. The next time I make it, I will pierce the meat before I baste it to get more flavor in the meat.

This recipe was awesome!!! My husband loved it! This is now on the list as one of our favorite meals. I took the juices from the bottom of the roaster and made a gravy out of it, it really enhanced the flavor.

genia 661 -did you remove the root vegetables after 15 min.? only remove the pan from the oven to add the add'l veggies to it-& put it all back in for 1-1/2 hrs, try again it's worth the effort. my family loved it. i'll definitely use this one again!

There must be a misprint in the recipe. The root veggies beets and potatoes did not bake in 15 minutes as the recipe stated. The meat came out fine, the veggies were hard, even after I put them in longer. Perhaps they should have been silced instead of quartered. Does anyone actually test the receipes prior to publishing them on the website?

This was very easy to prepare. The vegetables are very versitile. Next time I fix it, I plan on trying turnips instead of beets and I may add spring onions to the pan right before it is ready to come out of the oven. Another good thing it the left over roast is great in Cuban Sandwiches and I loved it when I chopped some up and along with a couple of hard boiled eggs I had a fantastic lunch salad for two.

I used a roasting bag to cook everything in. It turned out really good. I took everyones advise and cooked the beets ahead of time. It all turned out yummy!

My potatoes & carrots didn't quite cook enough. I will most likely cut them in smaller pieces next time. The flavor was great

Tried this recipe yesterday and it was great! So easy and everyone in my family enjoyed it (including my 3-yr old and 1-yr old). The pork turned out very tender as well as the veggies! Definetly will make this one again!!

The meat was nice and tender and was ready in the time suggested. But it lacked flavor. I even tried it again adding garlic, pepper, etc. but I could never pin piont what it was lacking. Kelli Texas
