What You Need

cups bite-size pasta, uncooked

lb. boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into thin strips

1/4

cup KRAFT Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing, divided

can (14-1/2 oz.) stewed tomatoes, undrained

medium onion, sliced

medium green pepper, chopped

can (8 oz) sliced mushrooms, drained

1/2

cup CHEEZ WHIZ Cheese Dip

Make It

COOK pasta as directed on package.

MEANWHILE, cook and stir steak in 2 Tbsp. of the dressing in large skillet on medium-high heat 2 min. or until steak is browned on all sides. Stir in tomatoes with their liquid, the onions, peppers, mushrooms and remaining 2 Tbsp. dressing. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium; simmer 10 min. or until onions and peppers are crisp-tender. Remove from heat.

TOP with CHEEZ WHIZ; cover. Let stand 2 to 3 min. or until CHEEZ WHIZ is melted. Serve over hot drained pasta.

I used shredded cheddar cheese instead of Cheez Whiz. Much bolder taste (we love cheese). Really good!

I didn't have stewed tomatoes, so I used sauce. It was pretty bland and not really very appetizing. My 4 year old wouldn't touch it, my almost 2 year old (who eats everything) ate a few bites and said "DUCK", her way of saying "yuck". She has never before said that in reference to any food! My husband finished his plate but said to throw out the recipe! I didn't think it was terrible but I wouldn't make it again.

I was looking for a quick dinner so I thought I would try this. I didn't have stewed tomatoes so I used a can of diced. Then I don't like mushrooms so I left those out and put in some red bell peppers. I also didn't have cheese wiz on hand so I used some shredded velveeta cheese. My daughter and husband love it. Thanks.
