PHILLY Brownie Cheesecake

PHILLY Brownie Cheesecake recipe
Why compromise? Have your (cheese)cake and eat a brownie, too—in a single dessert. Philly Cream Cheese makes it delectably creamy and totally foolproof.

Excellent recipe. I made this for the holidays and guests, thought it was bought from a bakery.

To everyone that is complaining about the brownie being too hard or too gooey, etc. You're doing something wrong. I've made it many times and it always comes out just fine(even the 1st time I made it). Just keep trying--you'll get it. And when you do--it tastes awesome!

This recipe was easy and delicious. It was my first cheesecake, so the simplicity was appreciated! I made it for my boyfriend and his family, and it was gone by the end of the weekend. I will definately make this again.

Nice recipe. However, I don't think I bake the bownie long enough because it collapsed while I poured the cream cheese batter on top of it. I will try again.

Instead of the 13x9 inch pan my 11 yr old son suggested using a muffin pan. I poured the brownie mix about half full in each paper lined cup, baked for the 15 minutes and then added the cheesecake batter and baked for the remainder time. Served them at my Community Group and they loved them. Thanks for the great recipe.

I used a small pkg of brownie mix and used a 9" springform pan and sprayed it with flour spray (Joy, I think). I don't think I baked the brownie mix long enough because the cheesecake batter spread it out to the sides so there was just a thin layer of brownie on the bottom. I will try this recipe again--maybe a larger springform pan.

The Brownie Cheesecake is excellent. In the future though, I won't use the foil that they suggest anymore though. The brownie part sticks to the foil.
