This did not work for me. The brownie was hard as a rock and gross and the cheesecake was runny!!
This recipe was awful! The brownie part was hard as a rock, and the cream cheese part did not stick to the brownie part. it was a mess. i couldnt get anyone in my family of 6 to eat it!
I took this to a church function and all of the teenage boys told me this was the best cheesecake and the best brownie they had ever had! And I agree with them!
I made this for the girls at my work and they ask me to make all the time!!!!! I did use hot fudge on the top and it is wonderful!!!
I've made this a few times, my only change is that I swirl the choc. before I bake it. Not only does it look beautiful, if the cheesecake cracks you can't tell at all!
The problem with this recipe is finding the balance with cooking the brownies. If you don't cook them enough to start with, they don't set up well at all, but if you cook them thoroughly and then add the cheesecake and cook again the brownie gets sort of dry. But the taste was pretty good and the presentation was great.
Only problem I had was that the brownie layer and the cheesecake layer would not stick together. Overall very good.
I made this for my boyfriend on our tripp to Hawaii and he l;oved it it's become one of his favorite treats, I make it almost everytime he comes home and it's so good.
can i just say WOW!!! first i overbaked the brownies, then i added twice as much sugar to the chessecake layer, i slightley over baked them the second time , and they still came out amazing!!! i can not wait to make these again the right way, they will be even better!!!
I made this for school, and it was a hit!!! all my friends and teachers were asking for the recipe!
