PHILLY Brownie Cheesecake

What You Need

pkg. (19 to 21 oz.) brownie mix (13x9-inch pan size)

pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

cup sugar

tsp. vanilla

1/2

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

eggs

oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate

Make It

HEAT oven to 325°F.

PREPARE brownie batter as directed on package; pour into 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray. Bake 25 min. or until top is shiny and center is almost set.

MEANWHILE, beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Add sour cream; mix well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each just until blended. Gently pour over brownie layer in pan. (Filling will come almost to top of pan.)

BAKE 40 min. or until center is almost set. Run knife around rim of pan to loosen sides; cool. Refrigerate 4 hours.

MELT chocolate as directed on package; drizzle over cheesecake. Refrigerate 15 min. or until chocolate is firm.

it was an excellant recipie....and it was the first time i tried making any cheesecake.......the taste was just irresistable.

I made this cheesecake for my husband for Valentine's Day and it was fabulous! It's his new favorite! Perfect for us chocolate lovers-Ladies there's no doubt you will want to go back for more and more. I can't stop running to the frige for a second piece! Thanksf or the idea Kraft!

I followed the recipe, very simple, and these were a delight. I made them for a very special (huge) event and they were a hit! The only change I made was to top the finished bars with mini choc-chips to save on time. Definitely a keeper!

I forgot to wait to remove from pan and they fell apart! They tasted great but make sure to take your time to remove them from foil.

I have made this recipe several times and I always get rave reviews. It's easy to make, and everyone loves it!

This was truly delish! Had difficulties with the chocolate on top. When I tried to cut the cheesecake, the chocolate kept breaking and lifting off of the cake. It was sort of a mess. Salvaged with some patience and a toothpick. It was delish though. Would make again, but figure something else out with the chocolate.

This recipe was great. Several of my co-workers thought it was very tasty. Next time I make it I will bake the brownie layer a little longer so that the middle is as firm as the outer edges of the brownie. But overall it was great, and I will definately make it again.
