I didn't mind it, but the fam was not thrilled with it. A good staple when you haven't got much in the house, though.

Have yet to make but plan on using soy crumbles and either spinach or frenched green beans in place of broccoli.

So easy to make!!! Even my picky eater loved it! The only thing I didn't add was the broccoli, it just didn't seem like it would taste right.

My girls are not broccoli lovers, so we substitute frozen corn. We also serve this with sliced cucumbers or a salad, which my girls love, so I'm not too worried about the lack of a green vegetable in the meal.

I make this every couple of weeks, it is easy and delicious and my 5 yr old loves it! I did make some changes - use bbq sauce instead of ketchup, add my own seasonings in place of chili powder. But great base recipe.

my husband loves this recipe. i made a few changes when cooking: i added 1/4 tsp garlic powder and browned the ground beef with the garlic and chili powder together. after draining and adding the water/noodles, i sprinkled a bit more chili powder on top, along with some pepper. we left out the broccoli after reading some of the comments. i also added a touch of milk at the end to make it more creamy. last night, we thought it was great. at first bite, i was thinking it might need some corn, but my husband likes it as is. i'm eating the leftovers for lunch right now and it tastes even better the 2nd day. we will definitely be making this again!
