I make this quite often and my husband and toddler love it. I usually use brown rice, just a personal preference. It's the best way I've found to get my two-year-old to eat broccoli!!

We added beef broth and some extra spices, but it was still bland tasting. I might try this again with a different dressing and cheese.

While I was cooking and intermittently sampling this dish, I noticed it was flavorless. I added chicken broth for taste, I suggest just using the broth instead of the water. Also, I added one teaspoon of minced garlic and salt and pepper to taste.

It was so very bland. We added hot sauce to it and still could not make it flavorful enough to really enjoy. It was a shame. Trya diffrent dish.

I thought it was a little bland, but my husband really liked it. We added extra cheese on top, and next time I will try a stronger dressing or more spices. The broccoli was very good.

After reading the reviews I decided to make this recipe with a twist. Instead of using 1/4 c dressing I used 1 c of Roasted Red Pepper and Parmesean Italian Dressing (I think that is the name of the dressing). I also added italian herb seasoning and season salt to the beef as it cooked. I was thinking about putting in diced tomatoes but I didn't have any without spices. I am sure they would go well with this dish. It turned out really well. I think this is a good dish if you like to experiment with food. Even my picky boyfriend thought it was good!!

Doctor it up and it's a great dish. I seasoned the meat with lemon pepper and garlic salt, put in 1/2 cup italian dressing, added a small can of tomato sauce, and lots of cheese (probably close to 1 cup or more). My fiance and I love it. He was kind of skeptical at first, but it totally won him over. He already even recommended it to a friend!

It was very good. We subsituted petite stewed tomatoes for the broccoli and it made it even better. Added more flavor and made it even better than having broccoli.

It lacked flavor, the only real taste in the skillet was the cheese. I would suggest adding a few more herbs or something to make it more flavorful without making it bad for you.
