I made this using the 2-inch muffin cups, so they were "2-bite" pecan pies. (I had to double the recipe to make the larger pies.) They turned out perfect and tasted even better than a full-size pecan pie. I didn't need as much chocolate topping as the recipe called for.

This has been one of my Thanksgiving standards for the last several years. Everyone always loves them. They go good with coffee and with a dessert wine. The drizzle on top does make them look prettier and only takes a couple of minutes...I usually drizzle on a little semi sweet and a little white chocolate.

I've made this a few times for parties and they are always a hit! They're just like mini pecan pies with an amazing crust. I would recommend decorating the tops, otherwise it doesn't really look that appetizing...almost looks more like ground beef... Also, I use a regular sized muffin tin instead of using the mini ones.

I made these at a bridal shower and again for a holiday event and they were a hit at both occasions. I found that the key was not to overfill them.

I love them! My middle son can't get enough and they fit in his hands!! These are great for parties, or not over-indulging!! It takes a while to make the crust, but it still forms well. It would be great with an apple pie filling of some sort as well.
