This was so good and easy to make. I wouldn't change a thing. Even the men in my family liked it!
I wouldn't recommend making this recipe unless you LOVE spinach. I like spinach but this was a little too much for me. Everything else tasted very good though. I think I'll try using broccoli next time. This recipe did make too much filling for one pie crust. I put a cookie sheet under my pie when baking it to catch all the overflow. I would also recommend letting this sit for 5-10 minutes before serving it as it needs time to set up and cool off a bit.
This was very good. It made two pies it would have been too much with only one pie. I used fresh spinach and add a little nutmeg and garlic salt. I did not add the bac. My kids loved it and asked for secounds.
this recipe is amazing- but i did make one big change. the recipe made so much filling- i split it between two regular pie shells- so i had two quiches! they cooked in the same 50 minutes- i just got more for my money! i loved them!!! :)
Everything I look for in a recipe: easy, (reasonably) quick, and delicious!
I did not use the onions of mushrooms, but it was very good. Also, you can substitute the mozzerella for chedder and it still tastes really good.
I made a number of substitutions, so it was more like a breakfast quiche- instead of mushrooms and spinach (which I'm the only fan of) I used diced ham. I still used onion, but used light Mayo instead of Miracle Whip. Also, I used Kraft Cheddar Jack cheese instead of Mozzarella. I've never seen my family so happy with a new recipe!
Yum - it was great! I'll put a little less mayo next time though.
I have made this one so many times I can't count them. It is fabulous!
I have made this a couple of times now. My husband LOVES this. He said that I sure do know how to make a mean Quiche and he's pretty picky!
