I read the reviews before making this dish and a lot of them said.... would have been better without the onion soup.. they were right !!! once again I learned the hard way. I will cook it again without and it will be awesome instead of very good !!

This is a surprise in flavors, and I have tried it on pork chops (same method) and they were wonderful......Oh, and one time I made this, I thought I had apricot jam in the fridge, and of course I didn't.....so I used orange marmalade instead and it was better than the Orange Chicken (without all that fat!!) from our favorite Asian restaurant.....Try it!!!

I followed the recipe the first time I made this and my whole family thought the onion soup mix gave it way too onion-y of a flavor. The next time I made it I left out the onion and added 1 tsp. of grated ginger and we all enjoyed it much more.

This was very tasty and easy, easy, easy. Was looking for a twist on BBQ chicken and this was it! I didn't think the onion soup mix was overpowering but gave it good flavor. Will try the sauce on ribs next time!

I am not sure why someone would say this was gross? I thought it was YUMMY! I did add a little brown sugar and a little more catalina and honey just from what i heard about the overpowering of onion. it was great over rice. I will make again.

We all loved this dish. I've made it twice and double the sauce to go over the rice. Next time I'm going to try noodles instead of rice.

Very easy and tasty. Whole family enjoyed. I used cellophane noodles instead of rice and it turned out equally good.
