CATALINA Chicken Breasts

I made this last week for myself and my daughters (one of whom is a very picky eater) and they liked it very much. I have to make it again tonight. The chicken comes out very moist and tender. I used the onion mix and my girls don't like onions, but they didn't even notice the taste

My husband is not big on onions in anything, so I wouldn't use this recipe. I have used the Catalina dressing many times however to bake my boneless, skinless chicken breast in. I just marinate my chicken breast in it for several hours and bake it, it's wonderful!

If you like the American version of sweet and sour sauce, you probably will like this one. Since our family likes authentic Chinese food, and we aren't big fans of American-Chinese food, this dish is not our favorite. The sauce is good. The onion soup mix adds an interesting flavor to it. However, the taste of the sauce somehow does not mix with the taste of chicken. Maybe the chicken breasts need to be seasoned first?

This recipe sounded good but turned out terrible, It just did not taste right at all!

Very oriental-ish...really, really good. I made it for my husband and friend, they both loved it!. I only used 2 tbs of the onion soup mix. I also served it with the egg fried rice recipe found in this site.

i can say this was a very good recipe i used one thing different i put apple butter in it the recipe was deliciouse you have to try it you will love it

My husband loved this dish and he is not a big fan of chicken!! Will make this dish again.

This recipe is so easy to make and tastes great. I had 6 large chicken breasts so I doubled the sauce recipe and it turned out great. My husband says it was superb. I served it with brown rice and brussel sprouts. This is definately going on my list of favorite recipes.
