different and delicious
Chicken was very good especially considering the ease of the dish. I passed this recipe on to several co-workers for those nights when you are just too tired to cook and yoy need something easy.
Usually my husband cooks all the chicken recipes in our house, but I wanted to try this out! Both him and my daughter loved it. Now we have a new chicken recipe!
I mixed half the Catalina dressing with some chili sauce. It took that sweet edge off just enough. Delicious.
Wonderful flavor - only two in household so mixed in jar, used half on chicken thighs & served with pasta, then used the other half on venison chops with rice. So didn't have to wait for the weekend when I have guests.
We made this recipe first, it was good but this sauce actually really stands out as a great wing sauce. We make the sauce a day ahead so the flavors are well melded and then we marinate the chicken in Catalina. We usually grill or bake the wings because of how many we have to make they disappear quick. Cook them and then toss into the cranberry sauce mixture, people fall over themselves to get to them when we make them at parties and stuff.
This is really easy and tastes very good. I have made this several times and my family enjoys it.
I fully expected to like this recipe but it was a big disappointment. It had a very odd taste and I won't make it again. There is a very similar recipe on the Kraft site which uses the same ingredients except insead of the cranberry sauce it uses apricot jam. A much better recipe. I'll stick with that version.
Made this with chicken thighs and it was very good, since we don't eat the skin I think I will skin them before baking to get more flavor to the chicken. My husband thought it was very tasty as well and asked if I would make it again. YES
Made this for NYE with turkey meatballs in the slow cooker and no one could get enough of them. I have passed this recipe out to everyone at the party. Definitely a huge hit!! I had to buy two cans of cranberry sauce because all I could find were 14 oz cans and I ended up using the whole second can along with some additional french dressing I had on hand becuase it looked like there wouldn't be enough sauce for the whole batch. Definitely a good idea. Fabulous!!! True family fav! Can't wait to try it with the chicken next week.
