This will be my new broccoli and cheese bake recipe. My family loved it. The pastry shell topping made it extra special.

very good when hot out of oven, but not good to take to potlucks and pitchins. I made it for a pitchin thanksgiving dinner, and it had to sit for awhile, and was no good once it was cold.

This is the second year I made this dish for Thanksgiving and will be making it again for Chanukah dinner...it is now a requested dish from me for family gatherings! It's nice and creamy and full of flavor! I add more than a cup of the shredded cheddar cheese and this time will try 3/4 the container of creamed cheese.

Made this on Thanksgiving too. Added a full container of cream cheese and topped with french fried onions. Family asked to make it a staple in place of the old green bean casserole!

I LOVE this recipe, I made it last year for Thanskgiving. It not only tastes good but looks very impressive and it's really easy to make. Making ahead is also a big help. I used melted butter on the top instead of egg because my son has an egg allergy and that worked out great.
